Q: What foods should I avoid feeding my pet?
- Xylitol-containing products (xylitol is an artificial sweetener often found in sugar-free candy and gum);
- Chocolate (although some types of chocolate are not as toxic as others, it's safer to keep your pet away from all types of chocolate);
- Grapes and raisins;
- Fatty and fried foods;
- Macadamia nuts
Q: How much does it cost to have my pet seen?
A: Each case cost varies depending on the pet and the reason for which they came in. During your appointment, you can expect our veterinarian to conduct an initial examination of your pet, for which there is a fee. The veterinarian or technician in your appointment room will discuss vaccines, treatment options available and we can provide an estimate for you, and answer any questions you may have. With this information provided during your appointment, you and your family can help to make the best decisions for your pet.
Q: Is a Rabies vaccine required for my pet?
A: In Michigan, the rabies vaccination is legally required for all dogs over 4 months of age. Cats are not required by law to have a rabies vaccine. It is our policy that a Rabies Vaccine be given unless proof can be provided that the pet is already vaccinated.
Q: Can I stop in to pick up medications?
A: We require that you call in prescriptions 24 hours prior to stopping in. Our clinic is constantly booked out two weeks in advance and filling medications last minute can slow appointments down.

Q: Do we have a cancellation Policy?
A: Our clinic does have a 24 hour cancellation policy. We reserve the right to charge a office call fee for any appointments canceled within 24 hours of your scheduled time.
